At the crossroads of Cubism, Expressionism and contemporary street art, Nicolas Cazalé composes fragmented and vibrant universes where faces, inner landscapes and urban traces collide. His formal choices express his intimate and silent quests: inner struggles, search for freedom and emancipation, reflections on the environment and the world of tomorrow.
Vivid, radiant colors draw inspiration from his travels to Brazil, which deeply shaped his vision, nourishing a unique approach to geometry and light.
The use of glossy magazine paper recalls his work as an actor and filmmaker. Here, Cazalé plays with these codes, distances himself from them, and reintegrates them into his artistic language.
Structured into Opus I and Opus II, the exhibition highlights the diversity of media explored by the artist: monumental diptychs on wooden panels, as well as large and small formats with marker on watercolor paper. Each work conveys a desire for total exploration, true to the sincerity and honesty that define his multifaceted artistic path.
