Raïsa Gates · PEBE Paul Bader · Éric Citerne · Julieth Mars Toussaint · Alex Mitrecey

From 16 July to 1 August 2026

The ELHABIBI Gallery is delighted to present its summer group exhibition, bringing together five of the gallery's artists for a single hanging: Raïsa Gates, PEBE Paul Bader, Éric Citerne, Julieth Mars Toussaint and Alex Mitrecey.

From photography to painting, from gesture to material, these five distinct worlds echo one another around a shared intuition: that of the living and of the contemporary human condition, grasped in all its complexity.

American artist of Philippine origin, Raïsa Gates explores the intimacy of our bonds with ourselves and others. Her work on spiritual quest, blending photography and painting, reveals calming tones and profound visual meditation.

PEBE Paul Bader captures his environment and fellow humans with careful attention. His figures evolve within interior and urban spaces, revealing the complex dimensions of the contemporary human condition.

Éric Citerne's work unfolds in continuous movement where gesture and material engage in dialogue. From Vestiges to earlier paintings through his recent Nisus series, his practice celebrates vital energy and the energy of life.

Blending acrylic painting and mixed media, Julieth Mars Toussaint questions human kinship, ordinary violence, and resilient beauty. Her work reveals the complex layers of contemporary existence.

A storyteller through pixels, pen and brush, Alex Mitrecey approaches painting as both laboratory and playground. His singular universe pays tribute to the masters Basquiat, Dubuffet and Picasso.

Five gazes, five gestures, one shared celebration of the living: so many paths crossing to offer a sensitive reflection on our presence in the world.
